Laporan Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang bagaimana sistem dan prosedur dalam mendigitalisasikan arsip kartografi yang di kelola oleh Unit Asset Document and Files PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Tujuan dari digitalisasi arsip disini adalah untuk meminimalisir penggunaan arsip asli atau fisik arsip, dimana jika sering menggunakan fisik arsip akan mengakibatkan arsip cepat rusak. Kegiatan ini juga dapat membantu dalam pelayanan arsip kepada pengguna serta pengguna dapat dengan mudah dan cepat dalam mengakses arsip yang dibutuhkan. Laporan ini menggunakan beberapa metode dalam pengumpulan datanya. Metode pertama adalah observasi-partisipatif, dimana penulis ikut terjun ke lapangan dalam pelaksanaan proyek digitalisasi arsip. Kedua, menggunakan metode studi pustaka, yaitu penulis mengumpulkan data berdasarkan literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan tema. Metode ketiga yaitu wawancara, artinya metode yang penulis lakukan untuk melengkapi data agar bervariasi dan menambah data berdasarkan informasi yang disampaikan secara langsung. Kesimpulan dari laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah proses digitalisasi arsip yang dilaksanakan di Unit Asset Document and Files PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Arsip yang dikelola oleh Unit Asset Document and Files PT Kereta Api adalah arsip kartografi dan kearsitekturan yang rata-rata mencapai lebih dari 50 tahun dan banyak mengalami kerusakan. Kegiatan digitalisasi sebagai bentuk kesadaran bahwa pelestarian infoemasi sangat pentng sebagai bentuk perlindungan dokumen.

This final Project Report discusses how the system and procedures in digitizing cartographic archives are managed by the Asset Document and Files Unit of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). The purpose of digitizing archives here is to minimize the use of original or physical archive files, where if you frequently use physical files, the archive will be damaged quickly. This activity can also help in archiving services electronically so users can easily and quickly access the required archives. This report uses several methods in collecting data. The first method is participatory observation, where the author goes into the field in carrying out the archive digitization project. Second, using the literature study method, namely the author collects data based on the literature relating to the theme. The third method is interview, meaning the method that the author does to complete the data to vary and add data based on the information delivered directly. The conclusion of this Final Project report is the process of digitizing the archives carried out in the Asset Document and Files Unit of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). The archive manage by the Asset Document and Files unit PT Kereta Api is archives of cartography and arhitectural, whose 50 years and suffered a lot of damage. The digitisation activity archives as a form of consciousness that your preservation is highly repentant as from of document protection.
