Sistem Informasi Terpadu Ekonomika dan Bisnis (SINTESIS) merupakan suatu sistem informasi terpadu yang dipergunakan oleh ribuan orang di dalam lingkungan FEB UGM. Sistem sebesar ini tentu tidak boleh dibiarkan terus berjalan tanpa adanya evaluasi. Evaluasi efektivitas sistem yang akan dilakukan juga bertujuan untuk membantu penyempurnaan dan pengembangan SINTESIS ke arah yang lebih baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi efektivitas dari SINTESIS. Lingkup penelitian adalah mahasiswa S1 FEB UGM selaku pengguna utama sistem. Pengumpulan data awal dilakukan melalui observasi sistem dan wawancara dengan pihak teknisi FEB UGM. Setelah itu, peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner elektronik kepada para pengguna sistem. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, dan kualitas layanan sebagai variabel independen berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna sebagai variabel dependen, dan kepuasan pengguna sebagai variabel independen berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas pengguna sebagai variabel dependen. Dengan demikian, semua variabel dalam model penelitian terbukti sebagai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas dari SINTESIS.

Integrated Information System Economics and Business (SINTESIS) is an integrated information system used by thousands of people within the FEB UGM. A system this massive should not be allowed to operate continuously without any evaluation. Evaluation of the effectiveness of system that will be done also aims to help the refinement and development of SINTESIS to become a better system and a system in accordance with needs. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate what factors affect the effectiveness of SINTESIS. The scope of the research is FEB UGM Bachelor degree students, as they are the main users of the system. Initial data collection is done through system observation and interview with technician of FEB UGM. After that, the researcher spread electronic questionnaires to the users of the system. The results of this research indicate that system quality, information quality, and service quality, as the independent variables, have positive effect on user satisfaction as the dependent variable, and user satisfaction as independent variable have positive effect to user productivity as dependent variable. Thus, all the variables used in the research model are evident as the factors affecting the effectiveness of SINTESIS.
