Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan kota tujuan wisata di Indonesia yang memiliki keunggulan pada Wisata budaya, Wisata makanan, Wisata Alam dan Wisata sejarah. Budaya lokal menunjukan keanekaragaman budaya yang berhubungan dengan lokasi-lokasi bersejarah yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah di Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta memiliki banyak budaya yang sangat menarik dan indah untuk dikunjungi sehingga perlu dikenalkan kepada masyarakat luas. Dalam penyajian visual objek pariwisata perlu dilakukan inovasi agar menjadi lebih menarik. Inovasi peta wisata yang digabungkan dengan teknologi augmented reality pada perangkat mobile merupakan inovasi untuk memperkenalkan Wisata pada masyarakat. Pembangunan aplikasi augmented reality untuk menampilkan model dari bentuk 3D Objek wisata akan menambah pengalaman dan pengetahuan mengenai objek wisata yang akan dikunjungi. Peta pariwisata akan menampilkan objek-objek wisata yang terdapat di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan pada smartphone dengan platform android, memanfaatkan teknologi augmented reality, dan Model 3D dari objek Pariwisata. Tools yang digunakan pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah ArcGIS, Photoshop, Google Sketchup, Vuforia SDK dan Unity. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk menampilkan bentuk 3D Model dari Objek Pariwisata pada peta agar pengunjung mengetahui lokasi dan tempat-tempat bersejarah yang akan dikunjungi. Hasil penelitian merupakan peta panduan pariwisata dengan memiliki support augmented reality yang menampilkan objek 3D pada peta melalui smartphone dengan sistem operasi android. Dengan adanya support augmented reality pada peta pariwisata dapat menambah pengetahuan pengguna peta terhadap objek wisata yang disajikan.

Local cultural show cultural diversity associated with historic sites scattered in various areas in Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta has a lot of culture is very interesting and beautiful place to visit that need to be introduced to the general public. In a visual presentation of the tourism attractions need to be innovative in order to become more attractive. Innovations travel map technology combined with augmented reality on mobile devices is an innovation to introduce Travel on society. Development of augmented reality applications for displaying 3D models of attractions will add to the experience and knowledge of the attractions to be visited. Tourist map will show you the attractions located in Yogyakarta. The application is developed on a smartphone with android platform, take advantage of augmented reality technology and 3D models of objects Tourism. Tools used are ArcGIS application development, Photoshop, Google Sketchup, Vuforia SDK and Unity. This application aims to show the 3D shape model of Objects Tourism on the map so that visitors know the location and historical places to be visited. The research result is a map with the tourist guide has support augmented reality displays 3D objects on a map via a smartphone with android operating system. With the support of augmented reality on the map users can increase knowledge of the attractions presented.
