Tugas akhir “ Analisis Penerjemahan Bahasa Mandarin Lisan pada Proyek Pembangunan Blast Furnace Complex PT Krakatau Steel” ini mendeskripsikan tentang bagaimana proses penerjemahan lisan di proyek pembangunan Blast Furnace Complex PT Krakatau Steel dilakukan. Pada proses pembangunan Blast Furnace Complex PT Krakatau Steel yang bekerja sama dengan kontraktor terkemuka asal Tiongkok yaitu MCC CERI dapat dirasakan pentingnya peran penerjemah bahasa Mandarin. Tanpa adanya seorang penerjemah yang membantu proses komunikasi maka proses pembangunan Blast Furnace Complex akan sulit dilaksanakan. Dari Tugas Akhir ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penerjemahan lisan yakni faktor teknis dan faktor non teknis. Faktor teknis berhubungan dengan keadaan disekitar penerjemah dan kualitas dari alat yang digunakan untuk menerjemahkan, sementara faktor non teknis berhubungan langsung dengan penutur, penerjemah dan pendengar itu sendiri. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode observasi lapangan, studi pustaka, dan wawancara dengan para penerjemah yang bertugas di proyek tersebut. The final project titled “ Analysis of Chinese Oral Language Interpreting in Blast Furnace Complex, building project of PT Krakatau Steel" describes about how the interpreting process runs in Blast Furnace Complex, PT Krakatau Steel. In the constraction process, Blast Furnace Complex PT Krakatau Steel collaborate with the most reliable contractor from China, called MCC-CERI. It can be perceived the importance of Chinese language interpreter. Without any interpreter to help both side communicate to each other, the Blast Furnace Complex building process will face so many technical-difficulties. Throught this final project can be concluded that there are several things that matters the interpreting process. There are technical factor and non-technical factor. Technical factors related to the circumstances surrounding the translators and the quality of tools that the translator use to translate. On the other hand, non-technical factors related to the speaker, the interpreter and the listener itself. The method that used in this research is observation method, literature review and interviewing the interpreters who assigned on this project.
