Sekolah Alam merupakan sekolah alternatif dengan memanfaatkan alam sebagai media pembelajaran. Sekolah Alam mulai dikembangkan di Indonesia pada awal tahun 2000. Daerah yang masih asri memiliki potensi untuk didirikan Sekolah Alam. Salah satu daerah di DIY yang masih memiliki alam yang asri yaitu Kabupaten Bantul. Kabupaten Bantul memiliki banyak lahan kosong yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai lokasi Sekolah Alam. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan parameter dan diolah dengan metode survei dan dianalisis secara kantitatif berdasarkan olah data dan survei lapangan. Parameter yang digunakan meliputi jenis penggunaan lahan, kondisi jalan, keberadaan sungai, sumber penggunaan air, dan kebutuhan jumlah ruang kelas sekolah. Pengolahan data tersebut menghasilkan tiga lokasi Sekolah Alam yang berada di Desa Argodadi, Kecamatan Sedayu dan dua lokasi berada di Desa Srimulyo, Kecamatan Piyungan. Lokasi Sekolah Alam disajikan dalam bentuk peta digital dengan menampilkan informasi lokasi, luas lahan, deskripsi wilayah, foto, dan vidio online.

The School of Nature is an alternative school by utilizing nature as a medium of learning. It began to be developed in Indonesian in early 2000. The area is still beautiful has the potential to set up the School of Nature. One of the areas in the province that still has a beautiful natural is Bantul Regency. Bantul Regency has a lot of vacant land that can be developed as a location for the School of Nature. The choice of location is done by considering the parameters and processed by the method of the survey and analyzed kantitatif based on the data and field surveys. Parameters usedinclude the typeof land use, road conditions, the existence ofa river, the source ofwater use, andthe number ofthe class needed school. Processing of these data resulted in three locations is in the village Argodadi, District Sedayu and two locations in the village Srimulyo, District Piyungan.Natural School location presented in the form of digital maps to display the location information, the land area, area descriptions, photographs and vidio online.
