Borobudur temple is one of the world cultural heritages. The temple is located in the administrative region of Magelang, the temple is a place of worship for Buddhists and as a tourist destination for local and foreign tourists. Therefore it is important to do 3D modeling of Borobudur to preserve the cultural heritage. Preservation of Cultural Heritage must be supported by the documentation of the place, prior to activities that change the original shape of the place. The utilization of the 3D documenting method became one of the solutions in the documentation of cultural heritage. Using the 3D model of this cultural heritage, geometric shapes and detail of the cultural heritage will look nice and attractive. One of the efforts is to use 3D modeling techniques for Borobudur Temple using Close range photogrammetry. Therefore, this final project is devoted to manufacture the 3D model of Borobudur which further is expected to provide a complete picture of the cultural heritage related objects that located in the cultural heritage area. Data collecting in this final project is using close range photogrammetry techniques with aerial methods. Aerial photogrammetry is a photo taking technique where the photo was taken from the air with the assistance of unmanned aerial vehicle "Aibot X6" combined with non metric camera "Nikon Coolpix A". Aibot X6 is a product of the "Hexagon" company and an aerial photogrammetry technology. The software used to create a 3D model of Borobudur in this final project is Agisoft PhotoScan Professional Version 1.1.4 (64-bit) and VisualSfm as the data analysis software. This project produces the 3D models of Borobudur from the processing of 1234 aerial photographs which overlap each other. In this research to create 3D georeferenced model of Borobudur, it used 17 control points. The 3D model of Borobudur is composed of 23.442.259 points, 384.034 faces and 192.080 vertices. The average error of distance comparison samples is 6.929 centimeter, with the largest error is 15.8 centimeter and the smallest error is 3.6 centimeter. Based on the results of the comparison of Agisoft PhotoScan and VisualSfm on the Borobudur samples, can be obtained 3 results. First, borobudur sample generated by Agisoft PhotoScan is able to produce intact texture. Second, Agisoft PhotoScan is able to do modeling despite less number of overlapping photos. Third, VisualSfm is not able to produce a good model when the number of overlapping photos less
