Analisis Pengaruh Industrial Production Index terhadap Indeks LQ45

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang antara variabel makroekonomi yaitu : industrial production index terhadap Indeks LQ45. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data bulanan periode Januari 2011 - Desember 2013. Metode analisis menggunakan Error Correction Model (ECM) yang dikembangkan oleh Engel-Granger. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa dalam jangka pendek industrial production index berpengaruh terhadap Indeks LQ45. Hal ini membawa implikasi bahwa dalam jangka pendek industrial production index dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi pergerakan indeks LQ45. Sedangkan dalam jangka panjang industrial production index tidak berpengaruh terhadap Indeks LQ45. Dari hasil regresi juga dapat dilihat nilai koefisien Error Correction Term (ECT) signifikan pada tingkat 5% sehingga layak untuk dipergunakan dan dapat menjelaskan kecepatan koreksi ketidakseimbangan jangka pendek ke jangka panjang.

The objective of this study is to analyze the short and long run relationship between macroeconomic variable: industrial production index and LQ45 index. The data used is monthly time series data from January, 2011 to December, 2013. The method used is Error correction Model (ECM) developed by Engle-granger. The result shows that there is a short term relationship between industrial prodcution index to LQ45 index. It means that industrial production index influences the LQ45 Index. But there is no long term relationship between industrial production index to LQ45 index. The regression result shows that Error Correction Term (ECT) coefficient is significant at 5%. It means that ECT coefficient is proper to be used and can explain the speed of a short term imbalance correction to long term.
