IMPLEMENTASI CLOUD COMPUTING MENGGUNAKAN MODEL ADOPSI ROADMAP FOR CLOUD COMPUTING ADOPTION (ROCCA) PADA INSTITUSI PENDIDIKAN (STUDI KASUS UNIVERSITAS SEMARANG)

Implementasi cloud computing pada sektor pendidikan masih belum banyak diteliti, padahal cloud computing merupakan sebuah pengembangan infrastruktur Teknologi Informasi yang dapat memberikan solusi atas keterbatasan kemampuan universitas swasta dalam menyediakan perangkat server yang akan terus bertambah. Penelitian ini meneliti model adopsi Roadmap for Cloud Computing Adoption (ROCCA) yang digunakan untuk implementasi cloud computing di Universitas Semarang (USM). Model adopsi ini dirasa perlu untuk diteliti karena sebelumnya ROCCA baru diteliti pada sektor industri dan pemerintahan, sedangkan institusi pendidikan memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan kedua sektor tersebut. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis cloud computing beserta setiap fase pada ROCCA dan dibandingkan dengan kondisi pada institusi pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa modifikasi model adopsi ROCCA, yang terdiri dari 5 (lima) tahapan, yaitu tahap Analisis, Perancangan, Adopsi, Migrasi, dan Pengelolaan. Kemudian menghasilkan implementasi cloud computing dengan model implementasi Private Cloud dan layanan Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) untuk institusi pendidikan, dalam hal ini pada Universitas Semarang. Implementation of cloud computing in the education sector is still not widely studied, whereas cloud computing is a development of IT infrastructure that can provide a solution to the limited ability for the private universities to provide a server that will continue to grow. This study examines the adoption model Roadmap for Cloud Computing Adoption (ROCCA) are used for implementing cloud computing at the Semarang University (USM). The adoption model is necessary to study, because previous ROCCA implementation previously researched in industry and government sectors, while educational institutions have different characteristics from the two sectors mentioned earlier. This study will analyze the cloud computing along with every phase of ROCCA and compared with the conditions of an educational institution. The results of this study are modifications ROCCA adoption model, which consists of 5 (five) stages, there are: the Analysis, Design, Adoption, Migration, and Management. Continued by generating the implementation of cloud computing implementation model and service Private Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for educational institutions, in this case at the Semarang University.
