Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang dinamika perpindahan logam di lingkungan perairan sungai Code, yang melewati Daerah Istemewa Yogyakarta. Dinamika perpindahan logam dari air ke dalam sedimen didekati dengan model adsorpsi Langmuir, Freundlich dan Partisi. Konsentrasi logam dalam air, dan kandungan total suspended solid, TSS (dihitung setelah koreksi untuk setiap perbedaan debit air), serta pengaruh pH terhadap konsentrasi logam dalam sedimen dievaluasi. Konsentrasi logam dalam air maupun sedimen ditentukan sekaligus dengan metoda Analisis Aktivasi Neutron (AAN)
Berdasarkan data degree of fitness (R2) ternyata adsorpsi-desorpsi logam Ti, Mn, V, Cd dan Zn mengikuti model Langmuir (0,9281 The transfer dynamics of metals along aquatic environment of river Code, flowing through the Special Teritory of Yogyakarta has been investigated. The dynamics of metals transfered from water phase to sediment phase was approached by adsorption model of Langmuir, Freundlich and Partition. The water concentration of metals and the total suspended solid (TSS) content (calculated after correction for the difference in water debit), as well as the influence of pH toward sediment concentration metals were evaluated. Both metal concentrations in water and sediment were determinated by a Neutron Activation Analytical (NAA) method.
