Pengaruh konsentrasi kepemilikan, klasifikasi industri, pertumbuhan dan risiko terhadap Leverage perusahaan

Dalam memutuskan srtuktur pendanaan perusahaan, manajemen memerlukan informasi keiangan dan non keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bukti empiris dan menjawab pertanyaan penelitian apakah faktor non keuangan seperti konsentrasi kepemilikan, klasifikasi industri, pertumbuhan dan risiko sistematis berpengaruh terhadap leverage perusahaan. Sampel penelitian adalah perusahaan manufaktur dan perusahaan dagang, jasa, dan investasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Jakarta yang pada tahun 1999 sampai 2003. berdasarkan penyampelan bersasaran, diperoleh 106 perusahaan sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analysis of variance (ANCOVA). Hasil uji Ancova menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi kepemilikan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan leverage, klasifikasi industri tidak berpengarug terhadap leverage, pertumbuhan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan leverage, dan risiko sistematis berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan leverage.

In making decision for firm financing, management use financial and nonfinancial informations. The objective of this study is to anwers research question whether ownership concentration, industry clasification, growth and systematic risk have effect to firm’s leverage. Samples in this study are manufacture and retail, service and investment companies that listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange from 1999 until 2003. Based on purposive sampling, obtained 106 companies as the research samples. Hypohteses are tested by running analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The result of this study shows that ownership concentration has effect to increasing firm’s leverage, industry clasifications has no effect to firms leverage, firm’s growth has effect to decreasing of leverage and sistematic risk has effect to firm’s leverage.
