Tugas Akhir ini menyajikan hasil terjemahan bagian Prolog dan Bab 1 dari light novel berjudul Tsuujoo Koogeki ga Zentai Koogeki de Ni-kai Koogeki no Okaa-san wa Suki desuka? karya Inaka Dachima dan ilustrator Iida Pochi. Prolog light novel ini berisi tentang pertanyaan pada angket Hubungan antara Anak dengan Ibunya, beserta jawaban yang diberikan oleh tokoh utama. Kemudian Bab 1 menceritakan tentang hubungan antara tokoh utama dengan ibunya, serta alasan tokoh utama masuk ke dunia game bersama dengan ibunya. Light novel ini dipilih sebagai materi terjemahan Tugas Akhir karena temanya berkaitan dengan permasalahan anak dan ibu. Tema tersebut berbeda dengan light novel lainnya, sehingga menarik untuk dibaca. Terlebih lagi, novel ini dilengkapi dengan ilustrasi yang bagus sehingga memberikan nilai tambah untuk light novel ini. Dalam menerjemahkan light novel ini terdapat beberapa kesulitan. Salah satunya yaitu pemilihan arti dan kosa-kata dalam Bahasa Indonesia yang tepat. Jika diterjemahkan secara harfiah, beberapa kalimat akan sulit dipahami. Oleh karena itu, metode komunikatif dipilih sebagai metode penerjemahan light novel ini supaya mudah dimengerti oleh pembaca dan makna yang terkandung di dalamnya tetap tersampaikan.

This Final Project consists the translation of prologue and chapter 1 of light novel Tsuujoo Koogeki ga Zentai Koogeki de Ni-kai Koogeki no Okaa-san wa Suki desuka? By Inaka Dachima. This light novel prologue tells about the questions of questionnaire Relationship Between Mother and Children and the main character answers. Afterwards, chapter 1 tells about the main character and his mother relationship. Also, the reason why the main character came into the game world together with his mother. This light novel was chosen as this Final Project topic is because of its theme Mother and Children Problem, which is unique and different from other light novels, making it unique and interesting to read. Moreover, the illustrations are good which adds more value to this light novel. In translating this light novel there are some difficulties. One of them is the selection of appropriate vocabulary to convey the meaning and message of the sentence into Bahasa Indonesia. The communicative method is chosen so that the translation of this novel will be easily understood by the reader and they will be able to enjoy the translation of this novel.
