KUAT TEKAN DAN DAYA SERAP AIR BETON NON PASIR AGREGAT PUMICE DENGAN TAMBAHAN ZAT KIMIA

Beton non pasir adalah bentuk inovasi dari beton normal yang diperoleh dengan cara menghilangkan agregat halus pada pembuatan beton. Kerikil sebagai campuran utama untuk beton yang sekarang harganya semakin mahal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan bahan alternatif sebagai substitusi kerikil yang memiliki harga lebih murah dan diprediksi akan meningkatkan sifat mekanik beton. Bahan yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah pumice sebagai bahan substitusi kerikil. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui berat isi, kuat tekan dan daya serap air beton non pasir agregat pumice dengan tambahan zat kimia menggunakan raiso semen : agregat 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7 dan 1:8 pada umur 7 hari, 14 hari dan 28 hari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai berat isi beton dan kuat tekan beton bertambah besar pada saat rasio semen agregat semakin kecil dan nilai daya serap air beton bertambah besar pada saat rasio semen agregat semakin besar.

Non-fines concrete is an innovation of normal concrete obtained by removing fine aggregates in the concrete making process. Gravels as the main mixture for concrete whose price is more expensive therefore, it needs alternative material as gravel substitution which has cheaper price and predicted to increase the mechanical properties of concrete. The material used for this research is pumice as a gravel substitution material. The purpose of this research is to know the concrete density, compressive strength of concrete and water absorbency of non-fines concrete aggregate pumice with additional chemical using raiso of cement and aggregate 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7 and 1:8 at 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. The results showed that the value of density of concrete and compressive strength of concrete increase when ratio of cement and agregat is decreased and the value water absorption increase when ratio of cement and agregat is increased.
