Based on data from 2016, it was found that the indonesia’s goverment bond yield has relatively high rate compared to other country like Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, India, South Korea and China. Government bond yields are the proxy of risk free in the CAPM model, which the CAPM formulation alone results in the capital cost of investing in risky assets. cost of capital itself is considered as discount factor in asset valuation. Thus, if the goverment bond yield in a country is high then it will increase the cost of capital, furthermore it will have an impact on the decline of the value of an asset in that country. The high yield of bonds is suspected because of the difference of risk between countries. Many country indicators can be seen as a source of risk. In this study, researchers included four indicators of state dependence on natural resources, level of terrorism, level of human development and exchange rate volatility. the first of these studies tested whether the country indicators involved in the study could be used as indicators that illustrate a country's risk, second this study examined whether the state indicators involved in this study could explain the variability of real risk free and the third study examined whether. Using regression analysis method Feasible Generalized Least Square and Ordinary Least Square this study examines whether the country indicators involved in the research can be used as indicators that illustrate a country risk, second this study examine whether country indicators can explain the variability of real risk free and stock market risk. The results of this study indicate that for country indicator of terrorism index and human development index can predict country risk rating, while country risk rating is not related to real risk free nor stock market risk.
