INTISARI Skizofrenia adalah gangguan mental kronis yang menyebabkan penderita mengalami delusi, halusinasi, pikiran kacau, dan perubahan perilaku. Obat yang sering digunakan pada terapi skizofrenia adalah obat antipsikotik generasi kedua salah satunya adalah clozapine. Beberapa penelitian menyebutkan bahwa clozapine dapat menimbulkan efek samping agranulositosis. Pemantauan angka leukosit diperlukan selama pengobatan dengan clozapine. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan clozapine terhadap penurunan angka leukosit pada pasien rawat inap dengan skizofrenia di RSJ. Prof. dr. Soerojo Magelang Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre and post test design dengan subyek penelitian pasien usia �18 dengan diagnosa skizofrenia. Pengambilan pasien dari Maret � Agustus 2017. Dilakukan evaluasi pemeriksaan hasil laboratorium terhadap angka leukosit pada pasien baru sebelum dan sesudah pemberian terapi clozapine selama satu bulan. Analisa statistik anova digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan clozapine terhadap penurunan angka leukosit dan variabel perancu yang merupakan salah satu indikator terjadi nya agranulositosis. Sejumlah 40 pasien memenuhi kriteria, dengan subyek laki-laki 27 (67,5%) pasien dan subyek wanita 13 (32,5%) pasien. Mayoritas pasien, berusia Usia 26-45tahun 31 (77,5%). Pasien,. ABSTRACT Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder that causes the patient to experience delusions, hallucinations, distracted mind, and behavioral changes. Drugs that are often used in schizophrenia therapy is a second generation of antipsychotic drugs, which one is clozapine. Some studies suggest that clozapine can cause side effects of agranulocytosis. Monitoring of leukocyte counts is required during treatment of clozapine. This study aims to determine the effect of clozapine on the number of leukocytes in hospitalized patients with schizophrenia at RSJ. Prof. dr.
