PENGARUH SOFT SKILLS DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP KESIAPAN MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI MENGHADAPI DUNIA KERJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh soft skills dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa akuntansi menghadapi dunia kerja. Populasi dari penilitian ini merupakan mahasiswa program studi akuntansi Departemen Ekonomika dan Bisnis Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada sedangkan sampel dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2014 program studi akuntansi Departemen Ekonomika dan Bisnis Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada yang berjumlah 84 orang. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert dan analisis data menggunakan analisis linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa soft skills dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa akuntansi menghadapi dunia kerja dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis 1 dan hipotesis 2 diterima. Dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis seluruh signifikansi menunjukkan angka lebih kecil dari batasan signifikansi, sehingga hal tersebut berarti bahwa soft skills dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa akuntansi dalam menghadapi dunia kerja.

This research aims to get the understanding about the influence of soft skills and emotional intelligence to the readiness of the student accounting face the working world. The population of this research is the accounting students of Department of Economics and Business Vocational Schools of Gadjah Mada University while the sample of this research contains of 84 people who are the 2014 accounting students of Department of Economics and Business Vocational School of Gadjah Mada University. The data obtained through a questionnaire using likert scale and analysis of data using multiple linear analysis. The results of this research stated that soft skills and emotional intelligence influence the readiness of accounting students facing the working world with the result of hypothesis testing 1 and hypothesis 2 are accepted. With the result of hypothesis testing all the significance shows a smaller number of limitations of significance, it means that soft skills and emotional intelligence significantly influence the readiness of accounting students facing the working wolrd.
