Dalam permainan kooperatif terdapat koalisi pemain yang saling bekerja sama untuk mencapai suatu hasil yang tertentu. Terdapat cara menghitung hasil ini diantaranya adalah fungsi potensial dan nilai Shapley. Kedua metode ini saling berhubungan. Kekonsistensian dan pendekatan reduksionis suatu aturan alokasi berhubungan dengan nilai Shapley. Selain itu, fungsi potensial dapat dikembangkan lebih jauh menjadi potensial berdasarkan nilai, fungsi share, dan share potential. Dibahas pula hubungan antara fungsi potensial dan fungsi share membentuk share potential. Terakhir, ditunjukkan bahwa potensial kooperatif berelasi dengan share potential.

In a cooperative game there is a coalition of players who work together to achieve a certain outcome. There are several ways for calculating the results cooperative games including two methods called as potential and Shapley function which are interconnected each other and are implied to determine allocation rule. Consistency and the reductionist approach of an allocation rule are related to Shapley value. In addition, the potential functions can be further developed to potential based on value, share function, and potential share. Furthermore, we also discuss the relationship between the potential function and the share function that forms share potential. Finally, it is shown that cooperative potential is related to share potential.
