ANALISIS PENERJEMAHAN LISAN BAHASA MANDARIN DI PT NEW HOPE INDONESIA (LAMPUNG)

PT. New Hope adalah perusahaan swasta terbesar di Tiongkok. Saat ini PT. New Hope telah membuka banyak cabang perusahaan di berbagai negara termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu nya adalah PT. New Hope Indonesia (Lampung) yang berdiri sejak akhir tahun 2014. Karena perusahaan ini adalah perusahaan asal Tiongkok, maka banyak karyawan Tiongkok yang bekerja di PT. New Hope Indonesia (Lampung) dan tidak bisa berbahasa Indonesia, sehingga peran penerjemah Mandarin di perusahaan ini sangatlah penting. Peran penerjemah bahasa Mandarin di PT. ini adalah sebagai perantara komunikasi antara manajer Tiongkok dan karyawan Indonesia. Tanpa adanya penerjemah yang membantu proses komunikasi maka dapat dipastikan kegiatan di PT. ini tidak akan berjalan lancar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode observasi lapangan, studi pustaka, dan wawancara dengan penerjemah serta karyawan di PT. New Hope Indonesia (Lampung). Dari Tugas Akhir ini dapat diketahui peran penting penerjemah di PT. New Hope Indonesia (Lampung) serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penerjemahan, seperti faktor teknis dan non teknis. Faktor-faktor ini sangat mempengaruhi hasil dan kualitas terjemahan.

New Hope Company is the first private company in Tiongkok. Nowadays, it has many branches in many countries included Indonesia. One of branches in Indonesia is New Hope Company Lampung which has been operated since 2014. Since New Hope Company is a company from Tiongkok, there are many employees who work at this company and they are not able to communicate using Indonesian language. Therefore, this company needs someone who is able to be translator and interpreter to help the communication between the manager Tiongkok and the Indonesia employees. The methods used in this paper are field observation, literature review, and interview with three people who become translator and interpreter and also the employee in New Hope Company Lampung. From this graduating paper, it can be seen the importance of the role of translator and interpreter in this company and the factors which cause the process of translating and interpreting such as technical factor and non-technical factor. These factors really influence the result and the quality of translation and interpretation.
