ANALISIS PENINGKATAN EFEKTIVITAS MESIN PENGOLAHAN TEH TERHADAP MANAJEMEN PERAWATAN DENGAN METODE TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE (TPM) PADA PT PAGILARAN

PT Pagilaran merupakan industri pengolah teh kering yang mengandalkan bantuan mesin untuk pengolahan bahan baku. Evektifitas mesin menjadi faktor utama untuk mengetahui kinerja industri dalam menghasilkan teh dan kualitas dari teh tersebut. Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh kenampakan mesin OTR, RRB, dan dryer yang usang, banyak mesin yang menganggur karena rusak, dan kurang maksimalnya kinerja mesin. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan semua mesin dan peralatan dalam kondisi terbaik dengan menemukan masalah utama yang menyebabkan kehilangan waktu loading mesin dan menentukan saran perbaikan untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Metode Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) dilakukan dengan perhitungan OEE, six big losses, dan pemunculan solusi dengan bantuan ishikawa. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mesin OTR, RRB, dan dryer pada periode bulan juni 2015 sampai juni 2016 dengan pengambilan data waktu kerja dari mesin. Perhitungan OEE ditentukan dengan avaiabillity ratio, performance ratio, dan quallity ratio, untuk mencari efektifitas dari mesin. Penentuan losses akan memeberikan gambaran seberapa besar waktu yang hilang akibat enam faktor dominan. Pemunculan solusi akan dilakukan dengan bantuan ishikawa dengan berpusat pada enam faktor dominan penyebab losses. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil pada periode juni 2015 sampai juni 2016 untuk perbaikan dari losses mesin OTR, RRB, dan Dryer mulai dari pengadaan mesin baru, untuk operator dilakukan pelatihan secara rutin minimal tiga bulan sekali. Pada perbaikan metode yaitu memperketat jadwal pemeliharaan, juga pemeriksaan sebelum dan sesudah pemakaian pada mesin. Pemeliharaan ini didukung dengan fokus pada pilar TPM yaitu perbaikan mandiri, yang mengubah mainset atau pola pikir operator, yang mengira mereka hanya menggunakan mesin dan orang lain yang memperbaikinya. Dimana untuk mengubah pola pikir pekerja haruslah dilakukan pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pekerja.

PT Pagilaran is a dry tea industries that rely on the help of machinery for the processing of raw materials. The effectiveness of the engine becomes the main factor to determine the performance of the industry in producing tea and the quality of the tea. The background research by the appearance of the machine OTR, RRB, and dryer are obsolete, many machines are idle because of damage, and the maximal performance of the engine. The purpose of the research is to ensure that all machinery and equipment in the best condition to find a major problem causing loss of time loading the machine and determine the improvement suggestions to resolve the problem. Total Productive Maintenance Methods (TPM) is done with OEE calculation, six big losses, and the appearance of the solution with the help of ishikawa. Research carried out on the OTR, RRB and dryer in the period of June 2015 through June 2016, with data retrieval from the working time machine. OEE calculation is determined by the ratio avaiabillity, ratio performance, and ratio quallity, to seek the effectiveness of the machine. Determination of the losses will be giving out an idea how much time was lost six dominant factor. The appearance of the solution will be done with the help ishikawa with a focus on the six dominant factor causing losses. The conclusion that can be drawn in the period June 2015 through June 2016 for the repair of losses OTR engine, RRB, and Dryer ranging from procurement of new machines, for operator training on a regular basis at least three months. In the repair method is to tighten the maintenance schedule, as well as examinations before and after use on the machine. This maintenance is supported by a focus on the pillars of TPM is self improvement, the change mainset or mindset of the operators, who thought they were just using the machine and other people who fix them. Where to change the mindset of workers' education and training must be done to improve the ability of workers.
