The 2010 Merapi Volcano eruption is considered as one of the most explosive Volcano which was IV of Volcano Explosivity Index (VEI). Several days before the eruption, deformation and seismicity data showed that the Merapi Volcano activity has significantly changed. The research using EDM method which correlated with seismicity data was conducted to analyze the deformation and create the model of pressure source model and magma supply volume during pre- 2010 eruption of Merapi Volcano. Same analysis was also performed for post- 2010 eruption. Deformation of Merapi Volcano was analyzed using Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) data which recorded in 2010-2013. EDM is utilizes slant distance measurement to determine the pattterns of horizontal deformation. The pattern of horizontal deformation is used to create the model of pressure source and magma supply toward 2010 eruption. The pressure analysis was determined by using graphical analysis and Mogi Model approach. The result indicate that the deformation of Merapi Volcano was directed to the south with maximum inflation value of RK3 and RK4 reached 148 cm and 180 cm on October 26 th 2010. Meanwhile, post- eruption deformation that occured from 2011 to 2013 has deformation value ranged from 0,1 to 0,5 cm, which is insignificant as an eruption precursor. Based on Mogi model, the pressure source is located at 3.000 m depth with pressure of 1060 MPa and resulting magma supply of 100 million m3.
