Laporan ini menjelaskan mengenai penerapan Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Inaktif di Arsip Universitas Gadjah Mada. Tujuan dari laporan ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses penerapan Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Inaktif. Pelaksanaan dari proses ini dimulai dengan prosedur pengeloaan arsip inaktif, proses penggunaan sistem, sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan serta kekurangan, kelebihan dan kendala yang ada di Arsip Universitas Gadjah Mada. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis menggunakan tiga metode yaitu, metode pertama adalah studi pustaka metode diterapkan dengan cara mencari dan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber bahan pustaka yang berkaitan dengan tema. Metode kedua yaitu observasi partisipasi yaitu pengumpulan informasi dengan cara pengamatan dan berpartisipasi langsung di lapangan. Metode ketiga yaitu wawancara, metode ini dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui informasi lebih lanjut mengenai tema yang dibahas oleh penulis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Inaktif sudah berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan dari pembentukan awal, namun masih belum efektif dan optimal yang disebabkan oleh beberapa kendala, yaitu admin atau petugas pengentri masih harus melakukan double input, kurangnya sosialisasi pengelolaan arsip inaktif terhadap Unit Kerja, kurangnya kesadaran dari pimpinan unit kerja mengakibatkan Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Inaktif menjadi kurang maksimal dalam penggunaannya, adanya perbedaan sudut pandang atau subjektifitas antara petugas arsip satu dengan yang lain.

This report explain about implementation of inactive-record information systems in Archieve's of universitas Gadjah Mada. The aim of this report is to understand the process of implementation of inactive records. the excecution of this processes started with procedure of inactive-records management, system utilization, facilities and infrastructures used and the deficiencies, advantages and existing obstacles in Archieve Universitas Gadjah Mada. The research conducted by author use three methods, the first method is literature review i.e. applied by find and collect data from several related sources. second method is observed partisipation, i.e. collecting information by observation and participate directly at the field. third method is interview, this method needed to get further information about discussed theme by the author. The summary from this research is to show that Implementation of Inactive-record information systems, has already worked well according to the purpose of the establishment, but still uneffective and unoptimal, it caused by some obstacles, those are admin or officer who input the datas still should doing double input, lack of socialization Inactive-record management to the working unit, lack of awareness from the working units leader affect the Inactive-record information systems has been not maximal in use, differences of point of view or subjectivity between each record officers.
