PERSEPSI KELUARGA PENDERITA DENGUE SHOCK SYNDROME (DSS) TENTANG ANCAMAN DAN PERAWATAN PENYAKIT DI RSUP DR. SARDJITO YOGYAKARTA

Latar Belakang : DBD merupakan salah satu penyakit yang masuk dalam 10 besar penyakit yang ada di puskesmas. Meskipun mengalami penurunan namun kasus kematian akibat penyakit DBD masih termasuk kategori tinggi. Perawat berperan merawat dengan memberikan intervensi terkait penyakit DBD mulai dari pasien masuk rumah sakit sampai pasien diperbolehkan pulang. Namun, disamping itu keluarga juga memiliki peranan penting dalam proses penyembuhan pasien Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS) selama mendapatkan perawatan di rumah sakit. Tujuan : Untuk memperoleh gambaran persepsi keluarga penderita DSS tentang ancaman dan perawatan penyakit di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan tehnik pusposive sampling dengan menggunakan strategi pemilihan typical case sampling pada populasi keluarga penderita DSS. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 6 informan. Pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik wawancara mendalam dan observasi lapangan. Informan penelitian adalah anggota keluarga yang selalu mendampingi pasien selama perawatan DSS dalam kurun waktu maksimal satu bulan. Hasil : Penelitian ini menghasilkan persepsi keluarga penderita DSS tentang ancaman penyakit meliputi perasaan yang dirasakan orang tua ketika anak sakit yaitu panik, kaget, khawatir, pasrah, tidak menyangka kondisi anak bisa sampai parah, stres, takut, sedih, tidak tega, trauma terhadap DSS, tegang, dan merasa berat terhadap penyakit anaknya. Persepsi keluarga penderita DSS tentang perawatan penyakit meliputi pelayanan, perawatan, dan komunikasi di RSUP Dr. Sardjito cepat dan baik, sebelum dilakukan tindakan ada persetujuan orang tua, tenaga kesehatan memberikan informasi tentang prosedur, manfaat, resiko, dan evaluasi tindakan, mendapatkan informasi secara jelas dari dokter dan perawat tentang penyakit yang dialami. Kesimpulan : 1) Persepsi keluarga terhadap ancaman DSS dipengaruhi oleh kondisi fisik dan tanda gejala awal yang dialami anak ketika sakit; 2) Persepsi keluarga terhadap ancaman penyakit DSS akan mempengaruhi pola perilaku dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan keluarga; 3) Persepsi keluarga tentang perawatan penyakit adalah biaya perawatan di PICU relatif lebih mahal bila dibandingkan dengan di bangsal; 4) Persepsi keluarga tentang perawatan penyakit cepat dan baik.

Background: Dengue is a disease that is in the top 10 diseases that exist in the health centers. Despite the decline, but deaths from dengue disease is still categorized as high. Nurses caring role by providing relevant intervention dengue disease from patients admitted to hospital until the patient is allowed to go home. However, besides that the family also has an important role in the healing process of patients with Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS) during treatment at the hospital. Objective: To obtain a picture of the patient family perception of DSS about the threat and treatment of diseases in the department of Dr. Sardjito. Methods: This study used a qualitative descriptive research design with a phenomenological approach. Sampling using pusposive sampling technique using sampling selection strategy typical case in a population of patients with DSS family. The number of samples in this study were 6 informant. Retrieving data using in-depth interview techniques and field observations. The informants are family members who always accompany the patient during DSS treatment within a maximum of one month. Results: This study resulted in the perception of patients' family of DSS about the threat of the disease include feelings felt by parents when a child is sick is panic, shock, worry, let go, do not expect the child's condition could get worse, stress, fear, sadness, did not have the heart, the trauma of the DSS , tense, and felt the weight of the illness of his son. DSS patient family perception about the treatment of the disease include services, maintenance, and communication in the department Dr. Sardjito fast and well, before action is taken parental consent, health professionals provide information on procedures, benefits, risks, and evaluation of the action, get clear information from doctors and nurses about the illness suffered. Conclusions: 1) perception of the threat DSS families affected by physical conditions and symptoms early symptoms experienced by children when they are sick; 2) Perception of the family against the threat of disease DSS will influence patterns of behavior in family health care; 3) Perception families about disease treatments is the cost of care in the PICU relatively more expensive when compared to the ward; 4) The perception of the family about the treatment of disease faster and better.
