FACEBOOK MESSENGER SEBAGAI MEDIA PROMOSI KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA STUDI DI SMP MUHAMMADIYAH DEPOK SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Latar Belakang : Permasalahan remaja yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan reproduksi, sering kali berakar dari kurangnya informasi, pemahaman dan kesadaran untuk mencapai keadaan sehat secara reproduksi. Berdasarkan Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2013 dari keseluruhan remaja 10-24 tahun, yang berstatus belum menikah sebanyak 76,1%. Pada kelompok remaja dengan status belum kawin, pada laki-laki 3,0% dan perempuan 1,1% menjawab pernah berhubungan seksual. Selain itu terdapat data terjadi kehamilan pada usia kurang dari 15 tahun sebesar 2,6%. Mengingat perkembangan teknologi jejaring sosial dan karakteristik remaja, pemberian pesan kesehatan reproduksi remaja melalui facebook messenger dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai saluran promosi kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui efektivitas facebook messenger sebagai media promosi kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian eksperimen semu, mempergunakan kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol (nonequivalent control group design). Sampel penelitian siswi SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok dan SMP Muhammadiyah II Depok sebanyak 66 siswi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Analisis data diolah menggunakan uji beda rerata dan uji beda proporsi. Hasil : Ada perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan ditunjukkan dengan p_value 0,000 (p < 0,05), namun tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada sikap (p > 0,05; p = 0,302) serta intensi untuk menjauhi perilaku seksual pranikah (p > 0,05; p = 0,777) Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan rerata skor pengetahuan setelah diberikan perlakuan, namun tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam rerata nilai sikap remaja terhadap kesehatan reproduksinya dan intensi remaja dalam menjauhi perilaku seksual pranikah.

Background: Problems related to adolescent reproductive health, often stem from a lack of information, understanding and awareness to reach a state of healthy reproduction. Given the development of social networking technologies and characteristics of young people, provision of adolescent reproductive health messages through facebook messenger can be used as a channel for the promotion of adolescent reproductive health Objective: To determine the effectiveness of facebook messenger for promoting adolescent reproductive health. Method: This was quasi-experimental research, using the treatment group and the control group (nonequivalent control group design). The research sample were students at SMP Muhammadiyah I and SMP Muhammadiyah II Depok as many as 66 students. Instruments used in the form of a questionnaire. Analysis of the data was processed using different test averages and test different proportions. Results: There were a difference in the improvement of knowledge between the control group and the treatment group indicated by p-value 0.000 (p <0.05), but did not show any significant differences in the attitude (p> 0.05; p = 0.302) as well as the intention to avoid premarital sexual behavior (p> 0.05; p = 0.777). Conclusion: There were an effect of the message adolescent reproductive health through facebook messenger to the increase in the mean score of knowledge, but there was no significant difference in mean values attitudes and intentions away from the teens in premarital sexual behavior.
