Circle identification is a part of the pattern recognition technique which supports the development of machine vision technology. Circle detection method can be classified into two kinds of methods; these are the deterministic and the nondeterministic method. The deterministic methods mostly use basic methods of Hough Transform and prefer the accuracy of the results. The nondeterministic method more emphasis on geometric analysis and prioritize in terms of computing efficiency. Reliable circle identification can identify some objects in an image accurately, efficiently, simplicity computation, and fast execution. In this study, memory saving is come by applying the chain code analysis. Improved accuracy is obtained by applying a valid reference point calculation using the displacement chain code directions. Execution speed is improved by the determination of the object as a candidate circle in the first step. The test result shows the figures visualization of the identification result and the data identification results include data on the number circle is identified, the data calculation of position coordinates of the midpoint of the circle and the radius, the circle roundness accuracy of data and the data length of the execution time. The test result on the synthetic image is obtained objects circle integrity percentage of 99-100% and has a detection time of execution between 0.26341-1.296 seconds. In the experimental identification of natural image objects circle integrity percentage is obtained by 85-100% and has an identification time of execution between 0.24158-0.66403 seconds. In testing the synthetic image to change the value of the coefficient of sensitivity shows the results are accurate and have a rapid time between 0.31974-0.60336 seconds.
