PEMBUATAN VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP BERBASIS KONDISI LOKAL UNTUKMENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP

Rendahnya kualitas sumberdaya manusia menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan semakin tidak terkendali. Contoh kasus yang dapat dilihat adalah penurunan kualitas air Sungai Code yang diakibatkan perilaku yang tidak ramah lingkungan karena rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat terhadap lingkungan, sehingga diperlukan upaya dalam mengatasi hal tersebut. Upaya tersebut dapat melalui pendidikan dengan pembuatan video pembelajaran lingkungan hidup berbasis kondisi lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelaikan video yang dibuat dan mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap siswa terhadap lingkungan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan video. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling, dan uji coba video dilakukan di sekolah-sekolah yang berada dekat dengan bantaran Sungai Code dengan siswa yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Masjid Syuhada dan SD Negeri Pakel. Prosedur pembuatan video menggunakan desain 4-D Models dengan tahapan yang digunakan adalah define, design, dan develop. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, lembar respon siswa, dan lembar pengetahuan dan sikap siswa. Teknik analisa data menggunakan skala likert, uji-t dan gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video telah laik untuk digunakan. Hal ini berarti kualitas video dari aspek media dan materi adalah sangat baik. Respon siswa dalam penggunaan video sangat baik yang juga ditunjukkan dari hasil uji beda bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dengan adanya peningkatan antara pre-test dan post-test pengetahuan dan sikap siswa. Perkembangan skor pengetahuan siswa SD Masjid Syuhada berkriteria tinggi, yaitu sebesar 0,74 dan SD Negeri Pakel berkriteria sedang sebesar 0,58. Sikap untuk kedua sekolah berkriteria sedang, SD Masjid Syuhada sebesar 0,6 dan SD Negeri Pakel sebesar 0,4. Low quality of human resources causes uncontrollably environmental degradation. One of the examples that can be seen is decrease of water quality of Code River caused by unfriendly attitude toward the environment because of low knowledge and attitude of the society members, so the effort in overcoming that problem is definitely needed. One of the efforts can be done through education by making video of environmental education based on local condition. The research is aimed to analyze validation test of created video and to analyze students’ environmental knowledge and environmental attitude before and after using video. Sampling technique used was purposive random sampling, and video testing was done in the schools located along Code River by choosing students in the fifth grade of Masjid Syuhada Elementary School and Pakel State Elementary School. Both schools are located on the edge of Code River, which represent state schools and private schools in Yogyakarta city. Video making of environmental Learning based on local condition used 4-D models with several stages define, design, and develop. Instruments used were the form of media expert validation, material expert, students’ responses, environmental knowledge, and environmental attitude. Data analysis technique used was Likert scale, paired sample t-test, and gain score. The research result shows that environmental learning video’s validation test determines that the video is valid to use. It means that environmental learning video from the aspect of media as well as learning material is very good. Students stated that the presented video was interesting, and it gained their motivation to study about their environment. Hypothesis test result of both schools also showed that there was significant difference between pre-test and post-test both in knowledge and in attitude of the students. The improvement of students’ knowledge got high criteria by gain score was 0.74, and Pakel State Elementary School was 0.58 which has medium criteria. Attitude to both schools got medium criteria; Masjid Syuhada Elementary School was 0.6, and Pakel State Elementary School was 0.4. Therefore, it can be concluded that environmental learning video based on local condition has succeeded to improve students’ environment knowledge and environment attitude.
