Karena pada persimpangan jombor sering terjadi kemacetan akibat besarnya volume kendaraan yang akan masuk ke kota Yogyakarta ataupun hendak keluar kota, untuk itu akan dibangun fly over yang akan memiliki peran dalam menunjang kelancaran pergerakan arus lalu lintas yang akan melewati Yogyakarta. Untuk dapat mengetahui proses pembuatan ramp fly over mulai dari pekerjaan penentuan koordinat titik ramp sampai dengan proses penghamparan aspal. Dalam pelaksanan pembuatan ramp diperlukan beberapa peralatan diantaranya adalah Theodolit, Waterpass, Rambu Ukur, Schafolding,, Concrete Pump, Truck Mixer,Excavator, Motor Grader, dll. Dalam metode pelaksanaan pembuatan ramp fly over jombor dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : 1) Sama-sama terdapat 6 buah tendon dan 22 kabel baja pretegang setiap tendon nya di sisi kanan dan kiri box girder. 2) Proses stressing dilakukan setelah usia beton mencapai 100%.
