MOTIVASI KADER POSYANDU LANSIA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PANARUNG KECAMATAN PAHANDUT KOTA PALANGKA RAYA PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TENGAH

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 4 posyandu lansia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Panarung. Posyandu lansia ini sering mengalami kekurangan tenaga kader karena kader tidak aktif, sehingga cakupan program kurang tercapai. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi lebih dalam tentang motivasi kader posyandu lansia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Panarung. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah kader posyandu. Informan sekunder adalah kepala puskesmas, kader posyandu lansia, koordinator promosi kesehatan, dan kepala kelurahan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode indepth interview, DKT, dan observasi. Hasil Penelitian: Motivasi kader posyandu lansia meliputi: 1) Motivasi fisiologis dan material: imbalan, jaminan pemeliharaan kesehatan, dan kemudahan dalam berhubungan dengan petugas kesehatan atau pemerintah setempat; 2) Motivasi sosial: kepedulian kader terhadap masalah kesehatan, kesenangan berorganisasi dan berkumpul dengan anggota masyarakat, dukungan orang terdekat terhadap tugas kader; dan 3) Motivasi pengembangan diri: keinginan mengetahui masalah kesehatan, pelatihan kader, pengetahuan yang bertambah setelah pelatihan, dan keterampilan yang bertambah. Kesimpulan: Motivasi kader posyandu lansia: 1) Motivasi fisiologis lebih dilatarbelakangi oleh harapan kader terhadap jaminan pemeliharaan kesehatan dan kemudahan dalam berhubungan dengan petugas kesehatan atau pemerintah setempat, 2) Motivasi sosial lebih dilatarbelakangi oleh kepedulian yang tinggi terhadap masalah kesehatan, kesenangan berkumpul dengan anggota masyarakat yang lain, 3) Motivasi pengembangan diri lebih dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan yang tinggi untuk mengetahui masalah kesehatan, pemeliharaan/pembinaan sebagai kader.
Background: Low participation rate of integrated health service post cadres was correlated to motivation of cadres in doing their jobs. This research was conducted in four integrated health service posts for elders in work area of Panarung-Primary Health Care. Recruited cadres were frequently inactive, so that coverage of program was poorly achieved. Objective: The objectives of this research was to obtain in-depth information on motivation of integrated health service post cadres for elders in the Panarung Primary Health Care, sub-district of Pahandut, City of Palangka Raya. Methods: This research was a qualitative-descriptive study with case study design. Primary informants of this research were cadres of integrated health service posts. Secondary informants were heads of Panarung-Primary Health Care, workers for elders, coordinators of health promotion, and heads of villages. Data were collected by in-depth interview method DKT and observational method. Results: Motivation of integrated health service post cadres for elders consisted of: (1) material and physiological motivation: compensation, health care insurance, and ease to make relationship with health workers and local government; (2) social motivation: care of cadres for all members of community, pleasure to organize and gather with members of community; and (3) motivation of self-development: desire to understand health problems, training of cadres, increasing knowledge after training. Conclusion: Material and physiological motivation, social motivation, and selfdevelopment motivation belonging to cadres of integrated health service posts for elders in work area of Panarung-Primary Health Care to participate and integrated health service posts for elders could work synchronically. Most of cadres participated in the integrated health service posts for elders because there were social motivations than physiological and self-development motivations.
