2018 | Skripsi | S1 PSIKOLOGITwo studies were conducted to examine the effect of prosocial behavior as the representation of benevolence on interpersonal trust and to predict intention to engage in collegial collaboration based on interpersonal trust assessed. Experimental vignette (n = 105) conducted in this study showed that the actor's positive attributes of ability and integrity featured with manipulated prosocial behavior significantly affected interpersonal trust after involving general trust. To extend the analysis, binary logistic regression was conducted to predict interpersonal trust on intention to collaborate. Results suggest the importance of benevolence and interpersonal trust in the initial phase of collegial collaboration.
