One way to determine the ratio of two different treatment groups was to analyze the survival curves. In clinical trials, information about certain time points may be of interest in making decisions about treatment effectiveness. Therefore, rather than comparing entire survival curves, the authors may wish to focus the comparison on a specific point in time. To compare the survival probabilities at a specific point in time for paired right-censored data, writer use Kaplan-Meier estimator, however, this approach requires modification. Next, the author also perform the transformation on the estimate survival functions are very useful in the formation of confidence intervals.
