Di dalam skripsi ini, diberikan definisi fungsi Baire-1 yang diberikan oleh Louis Baire. Kemudian dibahas teorema yang mengatakan penjumlahan dan perkalian dua fungsi Baire-1 akan menghasilkan fungsi Baire-1 baru. Selain itu, dibahas juga teorema yang berkaitan tentang komposisi! fungsi Baire-1 dengan fungsi kontinu seragam, dan suatu barisan fungsi Baire-1 akan konvergen seragam ke suatu fungsi Baire-1. Pada bagian akhir, akan diberikan definisi himpunan F sigma, dan karakterisasi fungsi Baire-1 yang diberikan oleh P. Y. Lee, W. K. Thang, dan D. Zhao. Kemudian menggunakan karakterisasi ini, akan diberikan alternatif pembuktian teorema-teorema fungsi Baire-1.

In this final project, we present the definition of Baire-1 function that is given by Louis Baire. Then we present a theorem that says the summing and multiplication of two Baire-1 functions will produce a new Baire-1 function. In addition, there is also a related theorem about the composition of the Baire-1 function with a continuous uniformly function, and a sequence of Baire-1 functions will converge uniformly to a Baire-1 function. At the end, we present the definition of F sigma set, and characterization of the Baire-1 function that is given by P. Y. Lee, W. K. Thang, and D. Zhao. Then using this characterization, we will give alternative proof of Baire-1 function theorems.
