Penulisan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menilai apakah Moving Average konsisten terhadap saham ASII untuk mengetahui trend dan keputusan beli atau jual saham periode Juni 2015 sampai Mei 2016. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa pola pergerakan harga saham ASII selama satu tahun cenderung mendatar (sideways) dengan harga rata-rata saham adalah Rp6.469,-. Untuk harga saham tertinggi adalah Rp7.650,-, sedangkan harga terendahnya adalah Rp5.075,-. Pada triwulan pertama menujukkan bahwa pergerakan harga cenderung ke bawah, sehingga trend turun. Pada triwulan kedua menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga cenderung mendatar, sehingga trend mendatar atau sideways. Pada triwulan ketiga menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga trend cenderung mendatar atau sideways. Pada triwulan keempat menunjukkan bahwa trend cenderung mendatar atau sideways. Pada bulan Juni 2015, Juli 2015, Agustus 2015, September 2015, Desember 2015 dan Mei 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan jual saham ASII. Pada bulan Oktober 2015, Februari 2016, dan Maret 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan beli saham ASII. Pada bulan November 2015 dan Januari 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan beli dan jual saham ASII. Sedangkan pada bulan April 2016 Moving Average tidak konsisten untuk keputusan beli atau jual saham ASII.

Writing undertaken aim to assess whether moving average is consistent with ASII to know the trend and the decision to buy or sell the shares of the period June 2015 to May 2016. The measurement results show that the pattern of stock price movement ASII for one year tends to be flat (sideways) with the mean price stock price is Rp6.469,-. In June 2015, July 2015, August 2015, September 2015, December 2015 and May 2016 for a decision consistent Moving Average selling ASII. In October 2015, February 2016 and March 2016 Moving Average consistent for purchasing decisions ASII. In November 2015 and January 2016 Moving Average consistent for buy and sell decisions ASII. Meanwhile, in April 2016 Moving Average inconsistent for the decision to buy or sell shares ASII.
