EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN BIOFILTER ANAEROB AEROB DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH PROVINSI NTB

Tujuan: Untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem biofilter anaerob-aerob mengolah air limbah. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observational analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada saat debit puncak, menengah, dan minimum. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini didasarkan panduan yang dikeluarkan oleh SNI serta lembar observasi berupa check list. Data dianalisis untuk mendapatkan efektivitas dan tingkat pemenuhannya terhadap peraturan yang berlaku. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan biofilter anaerob-aerob sangat efektif mengolah total koliform pada debit puncak (99,9%), debit menengah (83,80%), debit minimum (99,9%) dan efektif dalam mengolah parameter COD 70,13% pada debit menengah, dan 74,60% debit minimum. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bak anerob cukup efektif dalam mengolah COD dijam menengah (47,63%) dan minimum (51,85%), sedangkan bak biofilter sudah efektif dalam mengolah COD di jam minimum (60,14%). Secara keseluruhan unit biofilter anaeob aerob telah efektif dalam mengolah COD dan sangat efektif dalam mengolah total koliform. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil pengolahan air limbah RSUD Provinsi NTB telah memenuhi baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan. Kesimpulan: Biofilter anaerob aerob efektif dalam mengolah air limbah pada semua kondisi debit. Efektivitas terbesar pengolahan air limbah terjadi di bak biofilter.

Objective: To evaluate the effectivity of anaerobe-aerobic biofilter systems to treat wastewater. Method: This study was analytic observational with cross sectional approach. Sampling is done in peak hour, intermediate, and minimum wastewater discharge. The tools and materials used in this research are based on guidance issued by SNI and observation sheet. Data were analyzed to obtain the effectiveness and level compliance with the applicable regulations. Results: The results showed that anaerobic-aerobic biofilter was highly effective in treating total coliform at peak discharge (99,9%), intermediate discharge (83,80%), minimum discharge (99,9%) and effective in processing COD parameters 70,13% at intermediate and 74,60% minimum discharge. The results also showed the anaerobic unit were quite effective in treating COD in intermediate discharge (47,63%) and minimum discharge (51,85%), while biofilter unit were effective in treating COD at minimum discharge (60,14%). Overall aerobic anaobic biofilter units have been effective in treating COD and are highly effective in treating total coliform. Data analysis showed that the results of wastewater treatment of general hospital in NTB have met the established quality standards. Conclusion: An anaerobic aerobic biofilter is effective in treating wastewater. The highest effectivity of wastewater treatment takes place in a biofilter unit.
